Vital Therapies Osteopathy
What is Osteopathy?
Osteopathy is a form of manual therapy, based on a sound understanding on human anatomy, function, and how it can be physically improved through the hands of a skilled practitioner.
Visiting an Osteopath is a good idea if you're experiencing pain, discomfort, chronic ailments, loss in normal movement or are recovering from surgery.
How can Osteopathy
help me?
What can I expect in a consultation?
1. Take a detailed medical history.

2. Review any relevant medical investigations / imaging.

3. Conduct any relevant physical examinations.

4. Conduct a physical assessment / movement screen.

5. Provide physical treatment.

6. Prescribe rehabilitative exercises / advice on self-management protocols.
If you value your physical body, ability to move independently and pain-free, then Osteopathy can both restore and improve these elements of your life.
How can Osteopathy
help me?

Alleviation of pain and injury through hands-on therapy.

As physical practitioners, our intent is to help people.

That's why we do what we do.

Osteopathic practitioners spend their careers understanding peoples’ bodies and how to impact them, for greater well-being and longevity.

Physical therapy takes on different forms, but its power is in providing direct alleviation and management, where medications or surgeries may not entirely succeed.

Hence, my belief is in delivering manual, hands-on based solutions to bring about comfort. Without comfort, it’s hard to pursue long-term improvement; it’s what forms a series of natural progressions.

Vital Therapies Osteopathy
3 MAIN OSTEOPATHIC PRINCIPLES

1.

The body  functions as one unit (not separate arms, legs, hands and feet).
The body has the natural capacity to heal itself.

2.

3.

Structure and function of the body are connected.

Osteopathy itself is a form of manual therapy which focuses on a person as more than just a series of parts; we see the whole picture.

We combine hands-on treatment with the aim to provide not just short-term relief but long-term solution; below are the principles our osteopathic approach is based upon.
